Kindergarten Cops, Ipswich
On Thursday July 5, police from Ipswich Station attended the SunRise Kids Early Education Centre as part of a police friend and emergency services awareness day.

The kids enjoyed seeing the police vehicles, playing with the lights and sirens and speaking over the loud speaker. It seems some of the police enjoyed this too!
Some of the kids even dressed up as junior police officer’s on the day and a number of potential future police applicants were clearly identified amongst the kids.
Ipswich police remind the public that it is important to highlight to children of this age that police are there to help and also how to contact them in case of an emergency.
