Woodlinks Primary School in Collingwood Park holds a reading club one day per week. Students and parents arrive early for school and have a chance to hear guest readers and also to get a book out from the library.
This morning a large group of excited children gathered to hear the Officer in Charge of Goodna Station, Senior Sergeant Greg Shaw read a thrilling account of Simpson and his Donkey. Sergeant Ian Stephens read aloud “Rosie’s Hat”, selected by the children.
A great time was had by all and Goodna Police wish Woodlinks State School all the best with this wonderful reading program that is obviously well received and well attended.
