Could you spot a counterfeit banknote?

Counterfeit banknotes $100, $50, and $20 denominations are circulating throughout the Ipswich Police District.
Police are advising that if you have a banknote that looks not quite right, below are some ways to check a range of features that would advise the money in your hand may be a counterfeit.
Police urge businesses and customers alike to make themselves familiar with how to detect a counterfeit note.

It can be useful to compare a suspect banknote with one you know is genuine and look for differences; all Australian banknotes have similar security features, though their location can vary on the banknote.
