Child Protection Week in Ipswich

Ipswich District Crime Prevention Queensland Police Service, and working partners are promoting Child Protection Week across the Ipswich Police District.
As apart of the week’s events, two Symposiums at Fernvale State Primary School and Ipswich USQ give students, service providers, health professionals, and workers in the field of child safety an opportunity for personal development from guests speakers and professionals.
The symposiums are perfect networking platform to share information and address relevant practice issues relating to child protection.
The Ipswich Region Child Protection Week Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Friday September 8 highlighting the importance of child protection in our community.
At the same time we will be recognising the efforts programs, services and achievements that individuals and organisations have accomplished.
The aim is to raise awareness in the Ipswich community to promote the safety and well being of children.
