Success for Ipswich Road Safety Expo

It was a very successful Ipswich Road Safety Expo event on Saturday, August 19 with many Ipswich community residents visiting the static displays on offer providing information and resources on road safety.
Many road safety service providers were inundated with visits to their stalls, along with excited children wanting to experience the inside of the fire truck and police cars on offer.
There was also a police motorbike that provided parents with endless requests for photos from their children.
There was great activities for the kids, a road safety obstacle course, a 2N2 simulator for the adults and the Fatality Free Friday inflatable vehicle for everyone to sign and show their commitment to road safety.

The favourite event of the day was the demonstrations provided by Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.
Cr Kylie Stoneman Divison 4, and MP Jennifer Howard Member for Ipswich also attended on the day acknowledging the Ipswich District Road Safety Committee,
