Helping Turn Negatives into Positives with Stylist Ada Solly at Springfield Fashion Accessories Workshop

“Great style includes knowing how to accessorise.” That is what Springfield stylist Ada Solly tells her fashion patrons. She will be conducting a “Fashion Accessories Workshop” this 11 July 2017 at Saylor & Saige in Springfield’s Orion Shopping Centre. Ms Solly promises a fun and educational day, with a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate the event. Exclusive discounts and special giveaways will also be on offer for workshop participants.

Nine years ago, Ms Solly, suffered a trauma that she has since successfully overcome through her deep and unrelenting passion for fashion. Moving to a new side of Brisbane and starting her work in the fashion retail industry gave her hope and enough strength to cope with everything. Now, she wants to share this passion to the community in an aim to let others see the beauty that it brought to her own life.

“My aim is to help people who have been through trauma, divorce or whatever and to help them feel a bit better,” Ms Solly said in an interview with other members of the media. According to her, getting up in the morning and picking a coloured shirt to wear then going out for coffee made her feel better during difficult days. With her fashion line, Ada Solly Styling, she hopes to inspire others to do and feel the same.

Among the lessons outlined for the upcoming event include “how to accessorise to suit your outfit, the occasion, your body shape and skin tone.” Participants will get to try on mixing and matching available accessories with different outfits.

“… We have both a horizontal and vertical body shape. It’s basically going to be about wearing accessories and outfits to balance your body so you can look your best,” explained Ms Solly.

Everything will be discussed in a friendly manner over a glass of champagne throughout the duration of the workshop. Moreover, there will be a bonus opportunity to shop in the Saylor & Saige boutique “at a special discounted price.”

Ms Solly will be holding the workshop together with Saylor & Saige owner Sarah Franklin. The event will commence at 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per person inclusive of styling session, drinks, some nibbles, and a gift bag. Details will be sent with your registration confirmation.
