Looking for a way to get kids out of the house this weekend? The solution arrives this Friday, 7 August 2026. Organisers have split the YMCA Springfield Central Community Centre event into two distinct age groups to keep the music and atmosphere appropriate.
Primary school students aged eight and older get the floor from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. High schoolers then take over from 7 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Safety remains the top priority throughout the evening. Adults must physically sign their children in at the door and collect them when the music stops, meaning kids cannot simply wander off into the night alone.
