Police have charged a man following an alleged wounding incident in Boonah overnight.
It will be alleged at around 8:30pm two men, who were known to each other, became involved in a physical altercation at an address on Church Street.
It will be further alleged during the altercation one of the men assaulted the other man with a golf club before fleeing the scene.
A 32-year-old Boonah man was transported to Boonah Hospital for treatment of injuries to his arm and neck.
Police attended and took a man into custody at a nearby licensed premises.
A 38-year-old Dugandan man has been charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and enter dwelling with intent.
He is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on July 10.

Stealing by conversion or trick, South East Queensland.
Police are seeking public assistance to identify and locate a man who may be able to assist in relation to a number of offences in South East Queensland.
Investigation indicate since the fourth of July a man has attended nine businesses, including banks, in Maryborough, Gympie, Agnes Wates, and Browns Plains. Today, July 7 the man has attended a business in Nicklin.
The man approaches a teller or counter staff to exchange ten $100 notes to $50 notes. He then asks for a different denomination of notes or confuses the staff member in some way. Whilst the staff member is distracted he removes some of the $100 and all the $50 notes and leaves the business.
He is described as having an olive complexion, dark hair and a large build. He speaks with an accent and is sometimes accompanied by another man.

Serious assault, Ipswich
Police are investigating the serious assault of a 33-year-old man in Ipswich overnight.
At 11.30pm, a man was walking along Milford Street when he was approached by four unknown men.
The man was seriously assaulted by the group and sustained facial injuries.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are continuing.

No permission to trespass, Riverview
Police have been called to numerous complaints of vehicles hooning in private property located at Riverview. Contrary to what many people who access the area think, it is not vacant land. The property is privately owned and the owner has not given permission for anyone to access the land.
People who enter the land are liable to be prosecuted for trespass. Any hooning may result in charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Further, anyone operating a vehicle on the property whilst intoxicated will be charged just as if you were on a road.
Police have stepped up patrols and will continue to do so. We ask you to remember that if you don’t have permission from the property owner to be on the land then you must not access the land. Be respectful of other people’s private property.

Unarmed robbery, Goodna
Police are investigating the unarmed robbery of a 16-year-old boy in Goodna which took place around 11pm last night.
A 16-year-old boy was walking along Albert Street when he was approached by two boys who asked to use his mobile phone.
The 16-year-old managed to retrieve his phone, however the two boys attempted to steal his mobile and after a brief scuffle stole a sum of money.
No one was physically injured.
One boy is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 187cm tall, light brown short hair and a slight build, and was wearing a black hooded jumper and thongs.

Dangerous driving and firearms charges, Plainlands
Gatton detectives have charged two people after an alleged stolen vehicle was intercepted at Plainlands last night.
An off duty police officer travelling along the Warrego Highway at around 9.20pm noticed the stolen white Audi and reported it to local police.
A tyre deflation device was deployed on the highway near Laidley Plainlands Road a short time later.
Several of the tyres deflated with the vehicle being abandoned soon after and police apprehending a man and woman following a short foot pursuit.
A 23-year-old Woodridge man has been charged with nine offences including dangerous driving, failing to stop, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, wilful damage, obstruct police, unlicensed driving and two counts of stealing.
An 18-year-old Woodridge woman was charged with 15 offences including eight counts of stealing and four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
They were both charged with unlawful possession of a Category A firearm after police located a shotgun.

Fatal traffic crash, Redbank Creek
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a fatal traffic crash in Redbank Creek this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate the utility was travelling along Esk-Hampton Road when it left the road and crashed just before 1pm.
The male driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. A female passenger was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
