Suspicious fire, North Booval
Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious fire at a property in North Booval yesterday afternoon.
At around 3pm emergency services were alerted to reports of smoke coming from a building at an address on Nimmo Street.
No one was physically injured as a result of the fire however the building was extensively damaged.
Preliminary investigations indicate the fire was deliberately lit.
A crime scene has been established and the address was guarded overnight with investigators to return to the scene today.
