Update: Appeal for assistance to identify unknown man, Main Beach
Police have released images in their appeal for public information to help identify a man who was located deceased at Main Beach on Wednesday.
Around 8.20pm officers were called to Main Beach after a man was found unconscious at the beach.
He was declared deceased a short time later and his death is not being considered as suspicious.
Police have conducted extensive investigations but they have been unable to identify the man at this stage.
He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, believed to be around 60-70 years old and of a slim build.
He was found wearing blue shorts, Dunlop Volley running shoes and was wearing a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) bracelet and a watch with a brown leather strap (pictured).
