On October 21 at approximately 6.20pm, the victim was slashed by the offender with a box cutter knife on the left side of his jaw and neck, causing two deep cuts whilst in the Ipswich Ground level Coles Carpark. The victim has crossed Limestone Street to the front of Thai Viet and advised witnesses that he had been cut to the left side of his neck. The offender has decamped through the opposite exit of the carpark. A 44-year-old North Ipswich man is scheduled to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on November 15 in relation to the matter.
