Speaking up for Road Safety at Fernvale, whatever the weather!

On all the days the much-needed rain could have come, it came on the Road Safety Expo at the Fernvale Country Markets held on Sunday 26 August.
 
Not even the weather could water down our passion for road safety this week, and members of the community still turned up to ‘Speak up for road safety’ and have their photos taken with police and the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES).

The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the stall holders who continued to share the message that we’d gathered to keep our kids safe, focusing on child restraints and keeping children safe in and around vehicles.
Ipswich PCYC Breaking the Cycle program is moving from strength to strength, promoting further volunteer mentoring drivers to support new learner drivers into attaining the required hours to enable them to sit for their driving test.
