Successful Rocky Horror Road Show 2018

Another successful year has seen the Rocky Horror Road Show Year 12 Harm Minimisation Project (RHRS Project), facilitated by the Ipswich District Crime Prevention Unit, impacting on just over another 700 year 12 school students across the Ipswich Police District.
The project was the initiative and implemented by Sergeant Nadine Webster who wanted to raise awareness among Year 12 students about safe partying, healthy relationships, drugs and alcohol misuse and Road Safety information focusing on the  fatal five.
The success of the project is having  students identified  from each of the high schools across the Ipswich District attending to perform in a role play focusing on a party where everyone is drinking alcohol and an intoxicated person decides to drive their friends home.
This makes it real for all of the Year 12 students as it involves people they know.
