Removing your car keys from your vehicle and main entrances ensure that your vehicle is safe.
Follow these tips to help prevent opportunistic crime:
Secure your vehicle;
Lock all doors;
Close all windows;
Remove all valuables;
Park in a well lit area;
Make sure you lock all doors and window, even when the vehicle is parked in your driveway or on your property;
Fit a car alarm, immobiliser, ignition shield or other security device; and
