The Ipswich District Crime Prevention unit attended the Men’s Health Day at the Salvation Army Hall, Bundamba.
The event was organised by Able Australia and the Men’s Shed Association.
Over 70 people attended the event which saw service providers come together to focus on men’s health. Nursing staff were also on hand to take blood pressure and BMI tests for attendees.
Police gave a presentation focused on providing support and information on keeping personal information safe and on identify theft, fraud and cybersafety.
Overall, the day was a great success with information and resource sharing, raffles and a sausage sizzle.
