Walk against domestic and family violence, Wednesday May 2

On Wednesday May 2, the Ipswich community is welcomed to join the annual Candle Lighting Ceremony and walk in memory of those that have lost their lives to domestic and family violence.
The remembrance march is to create awareness and bring an end to domestic and family violence.

The 800m walk will start from D’Arcy Doyle Place, 116 Brisbane Street, Ipswich.
The event runs from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, and is part of the 2018 Domestic Violence Prevention Month.
There will also be a sausage sizzle and speeches on the day. Families welcome and registrations are not required.
