A man has been charged following the alleged assault of a child in North Ipswich on December 2.
Just after 5pm, a man approached a young child at a business on Downs Street and allegedly assaulted them.
It is further alleged that the man then fled the area and the child wasn’t physically injured as a result of the incident.
A 61-year-old Bundamba man has been charged with one count of indecent treatment of a child and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on December 6.
