Inspector Mel Adams and Springfield police were on hand today to congratulate those volunteers in the community that have recently formed the Redbank Plains Neighbourhood Watch Committee. The committee officially launch at the Redbank Plains Town Square on Saturday morning.

It was fantastic to see the number of interested community members attend the display and receive information on suspect identification, property security and ask questions about crime prevention and the Neighbourhood Watch Program.
This time of year is so important for us to be thinking about our home security. With the heat comes windows and doors being left open and an opportunity for offenders to gain entry.
