The Department of State Development SEQ West Regional Office, supported by Ipswich City Council and Ipswich Chamber of Commerce and industry will be hosting a Jobs and Training Forum on Tuesday December 12, at the North Ipswich Reserve Function Centre commencing at 12.00 noon until 5.00 pm.
The forum is open to job seekers, including retrenched workers affected by regional business closures, to meet and hear from government agencies, support organisations and regional employers, who will advise on regional job opportunities, skills and qualifications what employers are looking for, and retraining programs and courses to help find work.
Queensland Police Service will be in attendance providing information on the recruiting process and what it takes to join the Queensland Police Service.
