Each year the Ipswich Community walk is held for Daniel and each year the community never cease to amaze the amount of red they bring to the day.
Day for Daniel is a National campaign and the largest child safety awareness and education day for child protection and prevention. It is a reminder to everyone to protect children from harm by educating them to recognise, react and report.
Joining Ipswich police and community members was Ipswich Mayor Andrew Antoniolli, Councillors Kerry Silver and David Martin and MP Jim Madden Member for West Ipswich. Together we showed our support by wearing red and remembering Daniel.
The Ipswich Day for Daniel Committee consists of members from the the Ipswich district crime prevention team and the Ipswich Community Youth Service. The committee is supported by Ipswich City Council and Act for Kids. The Walk Tall Program were out in full force today reminding the Ipswich community
