Police Service volunteers from the Ipswich District Crime Prevention Unit visited the seniors at Redbank Palms Resort and provided them with heaps of safety tips for their person, home, vehicle and property.
Like everyone, seniors found the information both timely and valuable.
It’s important to note that at all times locking and securing our home, vehicle and property is something most become complacent doing.
Police remind you to consider your security, especially if you are in another part of the house, or have just left your car.
Implementing safety strategies can minimize the chances of becoming a victim of crime. Exercising our right to safety by incorporating good security habits, including the use the security we have for our homes and cars will assist with this.
