Stop the hurting – end domestic violence

Every day in Queensland, 250 incidents of domestic and family violence are reported.
One woman dies almost every week across Australia at the hands of a current or former partner. This could be your mum, your sister, your aunty. This is not OK. Don’t wait till you see the bruises. Not all domestic violence is physical!

Changing community attitudes and behaviours towards domestic and family violence is an important element of the Queensland Government’s program of work in response to the Not Now, Not Ever report.
The first in a series of communication campaigns to raise awareness and prevent domestic and family violence has now commenced the the launch of the Stop the Hurting – end domestic violence campaign.
