Police from Ipswich Police Station attended the Ipswich Cup on June 17.
Prior to the event starting Police were standing at a number of the entry gates collecting donations for Senior Constable Brett Forte, from race goers on their way to the event. Police were very impressed with the amount donated and know that all the support shown from the wider community it is greatly appreciated by the family .
Overall police were impressed with the behaviour of the race goers throughout the day and night which made it an enjoyable event for all that attended.
