The proud competitors
On August 22, our Ipswich Police District Football Team were fired up ready to take on Ipswich Grammar School First XI.
It was a competitive but friendly game, and a clear winner emerged.
Congratulations to Ipswich Grammar School who were the victors with a final score of 4 – 0!
A great game!
The team spirit and camaraderie on the day was enjoyable for all – even our defeated officers.
It was also an opportunity for the police to engage with the students, providing vital information and resources in relation to road safety, personal safety and keeping safe online.
Events like this help build positive relationships between police and school communities.
The next game between Queensland Police Service and Ipswich State High School is scheduled for the afternoon of Thursday, October 11.
