On Sunday July 29, the Ipswich Hospital Foundation park 2 park fun run was held in Ipswich.
Ipswich is regarded as one of the most challenging and hilly courses in Queensland where large numbers of runners across the Ipswich Police District and beyond competed in either the Half Marathon Relay, 10km, 5km Run, 5km Walk, Family Challenge or the Mascot Marathon.
Ipswich Police District Constable Clancy entered the mascot marathon with fellow competitors in the 100m race doing extremely well, staying upright and finishing proud with the crowds cheering them on.
The camaraderie on the day was enjoyable for all whether competitors were serious runners or community members wanting to take part in some good healthy exercise and fun whilst raising money for a good cause, that being the Ipswich Hospital Foundation.
