Silkstone playgroup dress up like their Heros

On Friday August 3, Adopt-a-Cop Constable Solah visited his adopted school, Silkstone State School, along with fellow officer Constable Gough.
Whilst they were there, the officers had a very special opportunity to catch up with the littlest members of the school who are attached to the playgroup class.
There were a few nervous kids but the majority of children were excited to have the police visit their class and made the officers feel welcome.
The children learnt about, how to recognise police, and what to do if they get lost, including how to dial that all important number in case of an emergency.
The kids even had the opportunity to try on some uniforms and pretend to be their heroes – a lot of fun was had by everyone and police identified some potential future recruits from the group.
Before police finished up their visit, the children were delighted to jump into the police car
