Dogs on Patrol, Camira

Over the weekend the Ipswich District Crime Prevention unit, Goodna Police and ViPs attended the Greencross Vets Camira open day.
Police attendance aimed to promote staying safe whilst walking your dog and being the eyes and ears of the community by reporting suspicious activity or if a crime is being committed.
Community safety and crime prevention is everyone’s responsibility, so taking your dog for their daily walk is not only good for you and your dog but could also assist police in your local community.
Many community service providers supported at the event by providing a wealth of information to the Camira community who were given animal treats, packs and food samples to entice even the fussiest eaters.
