Great success with Dogs on Patrol, Walloon

If you visited the Queensland Police Service at the Henry Lawson Bicentennial Park Walloon on Sunday morning, you would have enjoyed the many doggie activities, and treats from Footes Pharmacy Walloon, Rosewood Veterinary Service, and Crime Stoppers on offer for the Dogs on Patrol event provided by Ipswich District Crime Prevention.

You may have even had a coffee from Xpresso Coffee and a sausage from Ipswich District NHW, while taking in the atmosphere and sunshine.

A successful Dogs on Patrol event saw many locals from Walloon visit the Queensland Police Service Ipswich District Crime Prevention Unit supported by Ipswich City Council, to have dog tags engraved by Volunteers in Police while collecting the vast resources to assist dog owners.

The favourite of the morning was a visit from Queensland Police Dog Cozza and his handler Senior Constable Ray, winning the heart of a young local who wants to be a police officer.
