Karalee community meeting

The community meeting last Thursday night at the Karalee State Primary School was overwhelmingly well attended with approximately 40 members of the local community in attendance. Mr Shayne Neumann MP and Councillor Wayne Wendt were among those who attended.
The meeting discussed a variety of policing topics impacting the local community including; where local crimes are occurring, crime statistics, crime reporting, hooning, drones, the Neighbourhood Watch program and the use of social media (for good and not for evil!).
It was a great opportunity for police and the community to come together and discuss local issues and concerns and to touch base on where and how to get accurate information.
Police also covered different reporting methods, including Policelink 13 14 44 for non life threatening matters, Triple Zero (000) for life threatening and emergency situations and Crime Stoppers to report anonymously when you have information you’d like to provide to police.
