Detectives are investigating a wounding incident that occurred at Booval this afternoon (December 11).
At about 6.30pm, an altercation occurred between a man walking along Gledson Street and the driver of a white vehicle.
During the incident, the male driver of the vehicle exited his car and assaulted the man with an unknown object. The driver of the vehicle decamped the scene in the vehicle a short time later.
As a result of the assault, the man received a non-life-threatening wound to his abdomen and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are continuing.
