Thieves continue to target vehicles with ongoing thefts occurring across the Springfield police division.
In particular, the theft of number plates and the theft of tools from work utilities with lockable storage areas are being targeted.
As opposed to occurring on work-site during daytime hours, the current spate of offences are occurring overnight when vehicles are parked on the street or in driveways.
As our investigations continue, please make sure you lock and secure your vehicles at all times, as often these crimes are opportunistic.
