The Ipswich District Community Safety Crime Prevention Awards acknowledge individuals and organisations who are campaigners within the community and who are working towards crime prevention and community safety.
The Ipswich District Community Safety Crime Prevention Awards were commenced two years ago, this being the third annual Awards and facilitated by the Ipswich District Crime Prevention Unit, Ipswich Volunteer Area Committee of Crime Stoppers, Ipswich District Neighbourhood Watch, Flinders District Scout Association and supported by Ipswich City Council.
The Award Categories include:
Community Engagement
Designing for a Safe and Healthy Environment
Drug and Alcohol Harm Reduction
Youth Engagement
Family Violence Prevention
The winners will be announced at the awards presentation at 6pm, followed by a light super on Thursday 23rd November at Brothers Leagues Club – upstairs function room.
