Redbank Plains State School meet the mascots

On Tuesday, August 22, prep students from Redbank Plains State School met to discuss personal safety with Adopt-a-Cop Constable Sue Lindsay, and two very special guests: Senior Constable Clancy and the Redbank Plains State School Panther.
The students discovered that the two mascots have a lot in common, including that they both wear blue uniforms and they both want the students to be safe and respectful learners.

Students from prep to Year 2 learnt from Constable Sue Lindsay and Constable Stefanie Purcell about the difference between being safe and unsafe and what to do should they ever feel unsafe.
Students also got to dress up as police officers and learned about marching, saluting, police equipment and solving problems via good communication.
