Year Six students from Goodna State School completed this years Connect to Culture program (C2C) with a presentation on healthy choices and how drugs and alcohol affect our bodies.
This discussion was facilitated by myself, Acting Sergeant Lisa Hillary, with the presentation encouraging student participation. It includes an insight into how making these poor choices can affect a person’s mental health and their whole life.
Rather than just speaking off a PowerPoint, these students benefit from the interactive program and always amaze me with their knowledge and responses.
