Thanks to the Ipswich City Council for providing all the schools in the Ipswich District with the Healthy Active School Travel program. Camira State School had their Adopt-a-Cops’ Constable Hyland and Constable Pratt walk with them to school, sharing in an important part of the day in getting fit and healthy.
Apart from their walk, the officers from Goodna showed the students the police vehicle and discussed their role as police in the Ipswich community.
The school was also visited by the RACQ helicopter, along with a very special presentation in how they save lives.
All the students from Camira State School were thrilled to have such ‘cool’ visits from the police and the RACQ helicopter.
Thank you Ipswich City Council for working with our local police across the Ipswich District to help keep kids fit, healthy and safe.
