This is an update to the blog story No permission to trespass, Riverview, published July 6.
On the evening of July 7, after receiving information from members of the public regarding vehicles hooning, Goodna Police attended a private property in Riverview.
Police allegedly located numerous persons with vehicles that had been hooning in the area. Seven notices to appear for trespass were issued. This is an offence that carries a maximum penalty of $2500 or one year’s imprisonment.
Police will continue to patrol this and other areas in the Collingwood Park area in partnership with the Ipswich Council.
