Police are investigating the serious assault of a 33-year-old man in Ipswich overnight.
At 11.30pm, a man was walking along Milford Street when he was approached by four unknown men.
The man was seriously assaulted by the group and sustained facial injuries.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Investigations are continuing.
