Detectives from the Ipswich Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are looking into circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at Coalfalls yesterday afternoon.
Just before 4pm, police were advised that a woman, aged in her 30s, had been located deceased in a home at Macrae Street.
A crime scene has been established and an Investigation Centre set up at the Yamanto Police Station as part of Operation Papa Paddock.
Police are working to establish the circumstances surrounding her death.
