Another Tact before Text presentation was delivered by Dr Cassandra Cross in the Ipswich CBD yesterday capturing the attention of many senior community residents.
The Tact before Text program focuses on areas that advise of the dangers and risks surrounding the use of the internet and social media, and provides practical information on internet safety.
The presentation encourages users to think, before texting, before sending personal information to assist with protecting identity and managing reputation on-line.
The Tact before Text program is funded by Queensland Police Service and Suncorp Safer Community Grant, and applied by Ipswich District Crime Prevention to inform the Ipswich community, seniors and international students, to implement strategies to minimise the risk of becoming victims of crime.
